Replacing a dying battery will increase the amount of time the netbook can be powered on without being plugged in. A dead battery will also cause the computer to not power on when it is not plugged in.

    • Turn off the computer.

    • Disconnect the charger cable from the computer.

    • Failure to disconnect the charger cable from the computer could result in an electric shock.

    • Flip the computer over so the underside is facing up.

    • Slide the left and right slider buttons fully away from each other.
